The Empty Man

The Empty Man is a once in a decade type of horror film. David Prior’s directorial debut and let me tell you. It’s ambitious, engaging and it does not disappoint. There’s a trend right now where every writer and their cousin makes a cosmic horror film and truly doesn’t understand the concept of cosmic horror. Prior absolutely kills it with this film. Easily one of the best horror films I’ve seen in a very long time. If you can’t use your critical thinking skills during a movie then you’ll still get the typical horror ride out of this film. If you aren’t hooked in the intro I’d be very surprised. 8/10 - Prod. Liwag
