Pretty good sushi izakaya with tables outside, not too expensive and fairly surprising on some of the dishes served
Must visit place in the Shinjuku red light district of Kabukicho.
This is an awesome children’s book. I don’t think the original is in Japanese but this book was especially good and I loved reading it. Is def part of my recommendation to any parent and should be part of your child’s reading collection. 📖
Having an slow cooker is a game changer but the Instant Pot takes it one step further with the addition of a pressure cooker. I bought this on Amazon and it’s soooooo easy to make delicious and healthy food QUICKLY. I cannot recommend it enough for people with busy lifestyles that want to eat home cooked food.
An insightful look into the methods of Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent. His strategies, mentality and calculated ruthlessness in life and business… an entertaining and informative read. The audiobook is great as well.
Tea is a very subjective thing but I love this from Makinohara in Shizuoka. It’s produce by Kanekoen (金子園) and you can likely get Makinohara tea from different manufacturers but I found this variety to be incredibly smooth with just enough bitterness and sweetness. I buy this tea from a a store the manufacturer has in Musashikoyama called Kanekoen Musashikoymaten. Click the link for the location. 🍵
I never thought I’d get into a drama about Sumo but I have to say this was really really good. Very well produced and engaging story. I don’t want to give away anything but the only thing I didn’t like was how they ended the season and left me hanging on the edge of my seat! Looking forward to the next season. 🎌
